Utility Locates
As required by Colorado State Law, the City belongs to a Utility Locate Service. The locate service must be contacted 48 hours prior to an individual or contractor digging on the City right-of-way or utility easement. This allows the City utilities to be safely located PRIOR to digging and thus avoid possible damage to not only the utilities but also to the person digging.
