Mission Statement
The MISSION of the Gunnison Police Department is to reflect a responsiveness to, and create a feeling of security in, our community through:
- Protecting the Constitutional guarantees to all persons
- Protecting life and property,
- Preserving public peace and order,
- Creating partnerships throughout the community,
- Preventing, detecting, and solving crimes,
- Facilitating the safe movement of people and vehicles, and,
- Render other emergency services as needed.
