Ordinances 2003

Ordinances are an enforceable municipal laws, statutes or regulations which applies to all citizens within that municipality; penalty provisions may apply.

Ordinance 1, Series 2003: An ordinance vacating the northern most fifteen feet of West Virginia Avenue lying adjacent to the southern boundary of Lots 8 through 12, both inclusive, Block 106, and adjacent to the southern boundary of the east one-half of previously vacated Sixth Street, all according to the official amended plat of Town of West Gunnison. Ordinance 2, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Section 5-2-2 of the City Code of the City of Gunnison, Part 18, Section 1801, of the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities, regarding authority of impound motor vehicles abandoned on public or private property. Ordinance 3, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Section 15-17-4 (A) of the City Code of the City of Gunnison regarding development of nonconforming lots.
Ordinance 4, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending the regulations contained in Section 15-6-5 of the City Code of the City of Gunnison regarding the entrance overlay district regulations. Ordinance 5, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Section 15-14-1 (B) of the City Code of the City of Gunnison regarding variances which may be granted. Ordinance 6, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute two supplements to the Governmental Lease-Purchase Master Agreement, each of which contains on option to purchase, wherein Wells Fargo Brokerage Services, LLC, is lessor and the City of Gunnison, Colorado, is lessee, for a Tymco Regenerative Air Street Sweeper and a Tandem Axle Mack Dump Truck for the use of the City of Gunnison Public Works Department.
Ordinance 7, Series 2003: An ordinance adopting an additional appropriation for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2003. Ordinance 8, Series 2003: An ordinance for the regulation of traffic by the City of Gunnison, Colorado; adopting by reference the 2003 edition of the "Model Traffic Code for Colorado"; repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith; and providing penalties for violation thereof. Ordinance 9, Series 2003: An ordinance vacating that portion of the east-west alley lying between the southern boundary of Lot 7 and the northern boundary of Lots 8 through 12, both inclusive, all in Block 20, City of Gunnison, according to the official amended plat of Town of West Gunnison, bearing reception no. 17078, County of Gunnison, State of Colorado.
Ordinance 10, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison adopting a pilot program for residential electric customers who install photovoltaic or wind systems, and establishing a rate for the electrical energy consumed by such customers. Ordinance 11, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Chapter 12, Utilities, Article 1, Sewer System, and Article 2, Water Works System, of the City Code of the City of Gunnison, regarding the connection of buildings to the sewer and water mains. Ordinance 12, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Table 7-3, Schedule of Uses – Commercial/Industrial Zone Districts, of Chapter 15, Land Development Code, Article 7, Use and Dimensional Standards, of the City Code of the City of Gunnison.
Ordinance 13, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending Chapter 15 of the City Code of the City of Gunnison entitled "Land Development Code", establishing definitions and locational standards for sexually oriented businesses within the City of Gunnison, Colorado. Ordinance 14, Series 2003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gunnison amending the monthly rates to be charged by the City of Gunnison Electric Department for electric service and electricity consumed. Ordinance 15, Series 2003: An ordinance setting a tax levy for the City of Gunnison, Colorado.
Ordinance 16, Series 2003: An ordinance adopting and appropriating an annual budget. Ordinance 17, Series 2003: An ordinance of the city Council of the City of Gunnison, Colorado, adopting an additional appropriation for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2003. Ordinance 18, Series 2003: An ordinance vacating that portion of the east-west alley lying between Lots 13 through 17, both inclusive, on the South, and Lot 18 on the North, in Block 133, according to the official amended plat of Town of West Gunnison, City of Gunnison, County of Gunnison, State of Colorado; and reserving a twenty-five foot wide easement therein.
