Building Board of Appeals

The Building Board of Appeals consists fo five members, appointed by the City Council, who are qualified by experience and training to determine matters pertaining to building construction. They shall determine the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction and provide reasonable interpretaion of the provisions of the building code. The Building Official is be an ex-officio member and acts as secretary of the board. Meetings are held on an as-needed basis.
