Parks Maintenance Worker: The City of Gunnison accepting applications for a Park Maintenance Worker, a regular full time position. An extensive knowledge of irrigation systems is required. Previous experience as an irrigation technician preferred. Other duties include a variety of manual labor functions in the construction, maintenance, and repair of department buildings, grounds, parks, equipment, and associated facilities. Also directly and indirectly trains and supervises seasonal workers. This position requires working a flexible schedule; rotating weekend duties among four employees. This job is performed in an outdoor environment with exposure to extreme temperatures. Position is responsible for emergency call out and snow plow duties on an as needed basis.
