A. You will need to contact our office to complete a utility application and pay the applicable deposit. Click here to access the utility application.
Q. How much is the utility deposit?
A. It depends on the address of the property. Deposits start at $100.
Q. What utility services does the City of Gunnison provide?
A. The City of Gunnison provides electric, water, sewer, trash, and recycling service to residents within the city limits. The City provides electric service for selected customers outside the city limits. The Public Works department handles the recycling and refuse pick up. Click here for pick-up schedules.

A. The City of Gunnison finance department is open Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Closed on major holidays.
Q. How can I pay my utility bill or sales tax if I can't come in during normal business hours?
A. We have a drop slot in our north door facing Virginia St. We also have a drop box located at the courtesy counter in City Market. You may also send it in the mail to City Finance Department, PO Box 239, Gunnison, CO 81230.
